Historical Museum & Gift Shop
The Museum is filled with artifacts and furnishings of many of the island’s most magnificent cotton plantations as well as a portion of one of the last remaining slave cabins on Edisto. You’ll also find a Civil War Room that is filled with artifacts from this war as well as one of the first printings of the South Carolina Ordinance of Secession. The most recent addition to our collection is an exhibit dedicated solely to the local Native American tribe, the Edisto Indians.
